**Provided that you made a stipulation before going to sleep that you'll get up before 5:44 am to eat and/or drink something. Otherwise, the fast begins when you go to sleep.

 

Fast Ends: 7:28 pm

Maariv: 7:30 pm

Megillah Reading: 7:45 pm

Followed by a Purim Farbrengen, with music, refreshments, l'chaims, and dancing!

Purim Day

 

Shacharis: 9: 30 am

Megillah reading at Chabad: 10:30 am

Purim Feast: 11:30 am

  The Purim To-Do List

 

1) Hear the Megillah twice, once on Thursday night and once on Friday by day.
 

2) Friday by day: Give a gift of food containing at least 2 food items to at least one person.


3) Friday by day: Give charity to at least 2 poor people. (If you can't find any poor people on Purim, put money aside on Purim to be given on a later day). You can also fulfill this mitzvah by  clicking here - write " Matanot L'evyonim " in the note .

 

4) Friday by day: Eat a meal which includes bread and ideally, meat

5) Be merry the entire Purim! Drink Lechaim!
