Next Trip to the Ohel: Wednesday, October 2 at 8:00 pm
The gravesite of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and his predecessor, the Previous Rebbe, located in Cambria Heights, Queens, (just a half-hour from Washington Heights) - "the Ohel" - is an opportune place to go to be in the presence of two completely righteous individuals, spiritual leaders of the Jewish people.
It's also a place to pray to G‑d for blessing, guidance and salvation in all aspects of our lives, both material and spiritual. By praying to G‑d and beseeching Him in the presence of these two holy men, we are invoking them to be advocates, on high, on our behalf - for our prayers and requests to be accepted and fulfilled. Indeed, there have been numerous stories of people seeing salvation in their lives resulting from their visits to the Ohel.
We make a trip to the Ohel once a month, by car, usually the day before Rosh Chodesh - the beginning of the new Jewish month.
